The PolDiag OBD Special Interface + PCR2.1 License is a complete hardware and software solution for supported Continental Simos PCR2.1 ECUs used in VAG 1.6 TDI CR applications. The package provides ECU Read/Write, IMMO data decoding, automatic cloning, FRF update, OBD flashing unlock, and Power Class modification functions.

PolDiag PCR2.1 Solution – VAG 1.6 TDI CR

This package combines the PolDiag OBD Special Interface with the dedicated PCR2.1 License.

As a result, technicians receive the required PolDiag interface and software activation for supported Continental Simos PCR2.1 ECU operations.

Furthermore, the solution integrates reading, writing, IMMO data decoding, cloning, ECU updating, and other PCR2.1 service functions into one PolDiag system.

Automatic PCR2.1 ECU Cloning

PolDiag provides an automatic cloning function for supported Simos PCR2.1 ECUs.

The software handles the required supported IMMO data cloning procedure. After a successful clone, the replacement ECU is prepared to start the vehicle.

Therefore, the complete supported cloning procedure can be performed within the PolDiag system without requiring another tool.

PCR2.1 IMMO Data Decoding

The PCR2.1 License provides Read / Write and decoding functions for supported immobilizer data.

Additionally, PolDiag can provide IMMO data decoding / cloning without the original FLASH for supported cases.

This function requires an additional payment of €10.

EEPROM & FLASH Read / Write

The solution supports EEPROM and FLASH Read / Write operations on supported Continental Simos PCR2.1 ECUs.

Furthermore, technicians can use the available PCR2.1 data for supported diagnostic, replacement, cloning, and service procedures.

FRF Update & OBD Flashing Unlock

PolDiag also provides functions for updating supported PCR2.1 ECUs using FRF files from the server.

Additionally, the ECU can be unlocked for supported OBD flashing procedures.

Power Class Modification

The PCR2.1 License includes the ability to change Power Class in supported PCR2.1 applications.
